5X Xpanding Fortunes by Design Works Gaming puts a fortune theme on a compact 3×3 reel layout. Five paylines shape the ordinary game, while multiplier Wilds and expanding Bonus symbols give the small board its main points of interest.
Quick take: A compact three-reel slot where multiplier Wilds can strengthen a winning line.
Theme and Gameplay
The fortune theme centers on symbols that can change the value and shape of a result. On ordinary spins, watch the five paylines and whether a 2x, 3x or 5x Wild helps complete a winning combination. The small grid makes those interactions easy to follow: a Wild's multiplier matters when it contributes to a win, rather than simply by appearing on the reels.
Slot Features
Three Bonus symbols award 10 Bonus Games. During the feature, Bonus symbols can expand to cover an entire reel and turn it into Multiplier Wilds. That changes the scale of the board: a symbol that began in one position can affect a full reel. The Wilds can substitute in winning combinations and multiply the win, so the key is whether the expanded reel contributes to a paying line.
Feature focus: An expanding Bonus symbol can turn a full reel into Multiplier Wilds, changing several positions at once.
RTP and Win Potential
The listing gives an RTP of 93.89% and bets from CAD 0.25 to CAD 100. It also states that wins can reach 125x when multiplier Wilds contribute to a winning payline. That figure describes the documented win mechanic, not a typical result.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The 3×3 layout keeps the game direct, and the different Wild multipliers give you a clear reason to check how each one fits into a line. The bonus adds a more dramatic shift by letting a symbol take over a whole reel, while keeping the same basic question in view: does that Wild-covered space help form a paying combination?
This should suit players who like a familiar line game with a compact feature twist. The small board may feel limited to anyone looking for a larger, more layered slot experience.
Final Take: A compact line slot where expanding Bonus symbols give the multiplier Wilds room to matter.
