Gravebound is a five-reel, five-by-five slot from Chaos Theory, built around necromancy, magic and horror. Its 15 paylines give the large grid a clear structure, while the Ritual Metre turns winning symbols into progress toward a Wild respin.
Quick take: A charged Ritual Metre leads to multiplier Wilds that can stay in place through Free Spins.
Theme and Gameplay
The dark supernatural setting gives the reels a sense of ritual, but the main thing to follow on ordinary spins is the Ritual Metre. Winning ordinary symbols add charge to it, so a paid result can matter beyond its immediate line win. Once the Metre fills, the game awards a respin with multiplier Wilds. That links the base game to a feature in a way that is easy to track across the broad 5×5 grid.
Slot Features
The Ritual Metre respin adds between two and twenty multiplier Wilds. Their values range from 2x to 1,000x, and Wild multipliers are added together when they form part of a winning run. The Wilds therefore need a qualifying line win to turn their displayed values into a larger payout; the multipliers alone do not pay.
Feature focus: During the respin, look at which multiplier Wilds land on a paying route. Their combined value matters when they join a winning run, so placement can be as important as the largest multiplier shown.
RTP and Win Potential
Gravebound lists 96% RTP, high volatility and a maximum win of 25,000x. The large ceiling suits the multiplier feature, while high volatility means results can be uneven. The feature's multipliers do not make the listed maximum a likely outcome.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The Ritual Metre gives ordinary wins a second purpose, and the Wild respin makes its progress visible. I also like that the multiplier rule is straightforward: values add together when Wilds contribute to a winning run, giving the large grid a clear focal point.
Final Take: A dark, feature-led grid slot where the Ritual Metre gives each winning run somewhere to lead.
