Luxury Blast by R Franco is a five-reel video slot set among gems in an aquatic cave. Its ten paylines work in both directions, giving ordinary spins a simple question to follow: do matching symbols connect from either end of the reels? Expanding Wilds add the main change of pace, filling and locking a reel before a respin.
Quick take: A two-way line game where a full-reel Wild can hold its place for a respin.
Theme and Gameplay
Gem symbols and the aquatic cave setting give the game its luxury theme. With a 5×3 layout, the board stays compact, and the bidirectional paylines make it worth checking wins from both the left and right. Scatter symbols can pay independently of those lines, so they have a separate role in an ordinary result.
The useful distinction is between a line connection and a Scatter payout. Matching gems still need to follow a paying route; Scatters do not need that same alignment. Looking at those two parts separately makes a crowded result easier to read.
Slot Features
An Expanding Wild can fill a central reel and lock there, triggering a respin. That turns one symbol into a larger feature event: the held reel remains part of the next result while the other reels get another chance to form a win. The change is easy to follow because the expanded reel gives the next result a visible starting point.
Scatters pay without needing to land on a payline, adding another route to a payout. Their role is a direct award, separate from the Wild's reel expansion and respin.
Feature focus: When a Wild expands, note which reel it fills and stays on; the respin gives the remaining reels another chance to connect with it.
RTP and Win Potential
Luxury Blast has a 94% RTP and medium-high volatility, with bets from €0.10 to €100. RTP describes a theoretical return over extended play, rather than the return to expect from one visit. The volatility points to uneven results, and a held Wild still needs the surrounding reels to produce a paying combination.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The two-way paylines make the base game easy to read, and the expanding Wild gives a clear reason to watch the next result after a feature lands. Scatter payouts add variety without changing the basic line structure. The mechanics are straightforward, which suits players who want a compact reel game with a visible respin moment.
The return percentage is less appealing, and medium-high volatility can make the wait between worthwhile results feel longer. Luxury Blast makes its strongest case through the held reel: someone who enjoys seeing one part of a result stay in place while the rest gets another chance has a clear feature to follow.
Final Take: A compact gem slot whose held Wild gives the next result a clear focal point.
