Money Gong Empress by IGT sets a five-reel, three-row slot among palace, treasure and traditional gong imagery. Its 243 ways let matching symbols connect across the reels, while cash-filled Money Balls and prize-boosting modifiers give the game a second focus.
Quick take: A palace-themed ways slot pairs expanding Wilds in Free Games with a cash-focused Hold & Win feature.
Theme and Gameplay
Imperial imagery and treasure frame the five-reel board. On ordinary spins, follow matching symbols across the reels: 243 ways give them routes beyond fixed paylines. Free Games shift the familiar layout as Wilds expand, changing the available symbol connections and giving the feature a visible change of pace.
Slot Features
Free Games bring expanding Wilds into play, changing the reel layout and creating more ways for symbols to connect. The Money Gong feature set also includes Hold & Win style play with cash-filled Money Balls. Prize-boosting modifiers can change the value of those balls, making the relationship between the held prizes and their modifiers the main thing to watch.
Feature focus: In the Money Gong feature, watch both the cash values in the Money Balls and any modifier that boosts them; the modifier can change the value already on the screen.
RTP and Win Potential
Money Gong Empress uses a five-by-three layout with 243 ways to win. The broad ways structure keeps matching symbols in focus, while the cash feature adds a separate prize-collection rhythm.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The two feature ideas give Money Gong Empress distinct rhythms: Free Games alter the reel combinations with expanding Wilds, while Hold & Win shifts attention to cash values and prize modifiers. That contrast gives the game more to follow than its traditional setting alone.
The broad ways format suits players who like scanning for matches across the reels, and the cash feature offers a more focused prize chase when it appears. The mix of expanding Wilds and changing cash values may feel busy to someone who prefers one simple bonus idea. Its character comes from moving between reel connections and prize collection.
Final Take: A ceremonial ways slot with two clear attractions: expanding Wilds and cash prizes that modifiers can boost.
