Summer Day by Paperclip Gaming puts a five-by-five reel grid in a garden and greenhouse setting filled with plants, produce and animals. Its 19 paylines pay from left to right, while two free-spin modes turn the focus to meters above the reels and the multipliers they can activate.
Quick take: A bright garden slot where free-spin reel meters can turn winning lines into multiplied wins.
Theme and Gameplay
The garden details give the large grid a relaxed, easygoing feel. On ordinary spins, keep an eye on matching symbols along the 19 lines: three or more can form a win from left to right. The Wild substitutes for regular symbols to help complete those combinations, so its value depends on whether it joins a paying line.
Slot Features
Twilight and Summer are the two free-spin modes. During either mode, builder symbols fill meters above the reels. When a meter fills, it activates a multiplier for wins that pass through that reel. Summer mode begins with the meters partially filled, giving its feature a head start toward those reel multipliers. A bonus-buy option is also available for direct feature entry.
Feature focus: During free spins, watch which reel meters are filling and whether a winning line crosses a reel whose meter has activated. The multiplier applies to wins passing through that reel.
RTP and Win Potential
The listed maximum win is 10,000x the bet. Reel multipliers can increase qualifying line wins, but reaching the advertised ceiling depends on the symbols and feature results that land.
My Thoughts On This Slot
Completed reel meters make Summer Day's feature progress meaningful when a line win crosses the right column. Summer mode’s partially filled meters make its starting state distinct from Twilight’s without changing the core idea.
The five-by-five layout gives the game more space to scan than a compact slot, and the feature’s payoff depends on both building meters and landing line wins through the right reels. Summer Day should appeal to players who enjoy tracking a bonus as it develops and want reel multipliers to shape the value of later wins.
Final Take: A sunny five-by-five slot whose reel meters give its free spins a clear build-up.
