Xmas Link by Paperclip Gaming is a Christmas-themed video slot with a snowy setting and a five-by-five reel grid. Its 15 fixed paylines keep the main task familiar: follow matching symbols from left to right, then watch for multiplier Wilds that can hold the action open with respins.
Quick take: A festive five-by-five slot where held Wilds and two distinct free-spin bonuses shape the action.
Theme and Gameplay
Seasonal icons and treats set the Christmas scene across the large grid. On ordinary spins, the useful check is whether matching symbols form a left-to-right line on one of the 15 paylines. The five-row layout gives the reels more room than a compact slot, while the line structure keeps the result readable.
Slot Features
Multiplier Wilds can start a respin sequence while staying in place; additional Wilds extend that sequence. The Link Bonus awards 10 free spins when three bonus symbols land, with Wilds appearing more often during the feature. Four bonus symbols award the Xmas Bonus: five free spins, with at least one Wild guaranteed on each spin. Optional feature-spin purchases are also available. The two bonuses give the same festive board different aims: one increases the chance of seeing Wilds, while the other ensures a Wild is present on every feature spin.
Feature focus: When a Wild lands, check which positions it holds and whether another Wild extends the respin sequence. During the Xmas Bonus, the guaranteed Wild makes its position worth tracking on each spin.
RTP and Win Potential
The game is labeled high volatility, so its feature potential comes with uneven returns. No general RTP or betting range is established here; the practical point is to treat the Wild and free-spin features as possibilities, not a dependable result.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The five-by-five format gives Xmas Link a fuller board than a traditional three-row slot, but fixed paylines provide a familiar way to read it. The most distinctive moment is a Wild that stays put while another respin begins; that visible hold-and-extend effect gives the base game a clear point of interest.
The two free-spin bonuses also have different identities, especially the Xmas Bonus's guaranteed Wild on every spin. The high-volatility profile may be less appealing to someone looking for steady, frequent returns. Xmas Link should suit players who enjoy a seasonal presentation and can follow a feature sequence as it develops.
Final Take: A roomy Christmas slot with a clear hook: Wilds can keep the reels in motion.
