Northern Buffalo Fortune by Edge Labs sets its buffalo on an uneven five-reel board. The three middle reels each show five positions, while the outside reels show four. Roaming buffalo can multiply wins by 2x or 3x, and a separate Jackpot Wheel offers Free Spins or progressive prizes.
Quick take: Follow two different parts of the game: the buffalo multiplier effect on the reels and the award selected by the Jackpot Wheel.
Theme and Gameplay
The northern-plains setting suits the buffalo roaming across the reels. After choosing a stake, start a spin and follow the symbol result on the ways-paying board. The four-five-five-five-four arrangement gives the center more visible space than the outside edges.
That shape is worth noticing before following the special features. It is not a rectangular row of identical reels, and the buffalo movement gives the ordinary result another point of interest. When a multiplier appears, look at the resulting win rather than treating the animation alone as an award.
Slot Features
The roaming buffalo can multiply wins by 2x or 3x. These are win multipliers: the number matters in relation to the result it affects, rather than being a separate fixed jackpot amount. Watching the multiplier and the credited result together makes that part of the game easier to follow.
The Jackpot Wheel introduces a different type of event. Reel play can trigger the wheel, where the possible rewards include Free Spins or progressive prizes. Pay attention to the selected award, because extra spins and a jackpot prize send the feature in different directions.
The wheel and the buffalo effect give the game two distinct things to watch. One changes the value of a win on the reels; the other presents an award away from the normal symbol result. The wheel result identifies whether the next reward is more spins or a progressive prize.
Feature focus: Keep the 2x and 3x buffalo multipliers separate from the wheel awards. A win multiplier, a Free Spins award and a progressive prize represent different parts of the result.
RTP and Win Potential
Northern Buffalo Fortune has medium volatility and a ways-paying format. Its reel heights are four, five, five, five and four. The buffalo feature offers 2x or 3x win multipliers; those values describe the multiplier effect rather than an overall maximum payout.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The uneven reel heights give this buffalo game a useful point of difference before any bonus appears. More positions in the center make the board feel broader there, while the separate wheel provides a clear change of focus when it opens. The straightforward 2x and 3x multiplier values are also easy to recognize.
Its appeal is in combining a wildlife reel game with a wheel-led award. Someone who likes that shift between the board and a separate feature may find the structure engaging. If you prefer a game centered entirely on symbol combinations, the interruption for a wheel may be less appealing than the buffalo effect itself.
Final Take: An irregular five-reel buffalo slot with 2x and 3x win multipliers and a Jackpot Wheel offering Free Spins or progressive prizes.
