Red Eclipse Riches is a gothic vampire slot from Ainsworth, complete with candlelit reels and a pale, fanged host watching every spin. It plays across five reels and 20 lines, while four colored blood drops open the door to its bonus features. This Red Eclipse Riches slot review explains those Riches features and the five jackpots shown above the reels for everyone to see.
Theme and Gameplay
Garlic bulbs, wooden stakes, holy books, a golden cross and melting candles fill the reels, alongside red card royals. Off to one side, the vampire sits behind four glowing gems labeled Cash Riches, Wild Riches, Premium Pay Riches and Bonus Riches. Across the top, the Grand, Major, Maxi, Minor and Mini jackpots are always on display.
Line wins begin on the first reel and run left to right across adjacent reels, with only the top result paid on each line. Every bet option is multiplied by a fixed 30, so the 0.30 demo bet becomes a 9.00 total stake. The Try Feature button lets demo players preview the bonuses without waiting for a trigger.
Slot Features
The blood drops are the Scatters, and each color has its own home. Blue lands only on reel 1, orange only on reel 3, green only on reel 5, and red turns up on either reel 2 or reel 4. Any combination of one or more drops may randomly start one of the four Riches features, or a combined feature, with eight spins. The number of drops showing does not reflect the actual reward.
Each feature changes the reels in its own way. Cash symbols reveal prizes, which are added up once each spin finishes. Wild multipliers land on reels 2 to 4 and add together when they share a winning line. Premium symbols and bonus symbols can also be revealed, and collecting two to six bonus symbols awards the matching bonus prize, which can be won more than once.
During the features, the regular symbols are swapped for special versions. A feature Scatter also adds one extra spin each time it appears, so a round can run longer than its starting eight spins.
RTP and Win Potential
Ainsworth lists a theoretical RTP of 96.13%. The top line pay comes from five candles. At the 9.00 total stake, the jackpot panel reads 36 for the Mini, 96 for the Minor, 180 for the Maxi, 2,400 for the Major and 18,000 for the Grand, so the top jackpot equals 2,000x the total bet.
My Thoughts On This Slot
Red Eclipse Riches nails its spooky mood. The vampire, the candle glow and the colored blood drops create real suspense, especially when a drop lands on reel 1 and you wait to see if more follow. Not knowing which Riches feature will fire keeps the base game interesting.
The combined features give it extra depth, since each Riches type plays differently. With a solid RTP and a big Grand jackpot, it suits fans of traditional Ainsworth line slots with plenty of bonus variety.
