7 Witch Poisons sets its reels on a wooden apothecary shelf. A red-haired witch in a pointed hat leans over a bubbling green cauldron, surrounded by candles, a skull and rows of glass bottles in blue, pink and violet. I began with a 10,000 balance at the default 2.00 stake, and the very first screen was crowded with purple spellbooks, each with a single orange eye.
Theme and Gameplay
The symbol set is properly spooky. The witch herself, the one-eyed spellbook and a grinning mandrake root are the picture symbols, while dusky royals fill the lower rungs. Two labels above the reels, Multi and Collect, show which bottles have been charged.
Five jackpots sit in wooden plaques down the left. At a 2.00 bet they read Mini 30, Minor 100, Major 300, Grand 6,000 and Mega 20,000, or 15x, 50x, 150x, 3,000x and 10,000x the stake. A yellow Buy Bonus tab and a lightning-bolt turbo button frame the screen.
There are 25 fixed lines that pay in sequence from reel one. Wilds substitute for all standard symbols, and stacks of two or three wilds can merge into a multiplier wild worth up to x10 before the payout.
Slot Features
Six bonus symbols of any kind open three respins, with every newcomer refilling the counter. Value symbols show x1 to x12 the bet. Any Expand, Collect or Multi symbol in the triggering set activates that feature for the round. Every bonus symbol also drips into the Poison Bottles above the reels, which can trigger an Extra Bonus Game at random.
Multi adds an x2 frame to a random position and then turns into an ordinary value. Collect gathers every value on the reels and stays put until the end. Expand is the big one, launching the Mega Bonus Game on a 5×5 grid. Mystery symbols morph into any of those features or into an Upgrade symbol, even one you didn’t trigger.
Upgrade symbols are the clever part. Landing one during normal spins can stack an extra Multi or Collect bottle over the base one, up to two extras each. With all three Multi bottles, a single Multi symbol can drop up to five frames, and three Collect bottles mean three collection passes. Those upgrades carry into the Extra Bonus Game.
RTP and Win Potential
The RTP is 96.08%, comfortably in line with the market. The Bonus Game is capped at 10,000x your bet, and hitting that figure closes the round on the spot. Stakes span 0.10 to 20.
Three purchase tiers sit behind the yellow tab. For 70x you get one or two guaranteed features. 150x brings a pair or trio of features plus one or two Upgrade symbols, and 300x unlocks all three features with two to four Upgrades. There’s also an ante option at 1.5x the stake that doubles the chance of the bonus. With jackpot-driven top wins, I’d class it as high volatility.
My Thoughts On This Slot
It ranks among the better-built respin games I’ve played lately. The bottle upgrades give the base game a reason to exist beyond waiting for six coins, and stacking extra Multi bottles before a bonus makes the round feel earned. The artwork is lovely too, with the witch and her potions bringing plenty of character.
My only complaint is that the top two jackpots need every single cell occupied, which won’t happen often. The 300x buy is steep, so I’d stick to the cheapest tier or the ante bet.
