9 Buffalo brings a Western buffalo theme to a compact 3×3 video slot. Five fixed paylines shape ordinary results, and buffalo Wilds give the small board a clear symbol to follow as each spin settles.
Quick take: Buffalo Wilds help line wins, then can pay in any position during Free Spins.
Theme and Gameplay
The buffalo imagery gives the game a direct Western identity, while the 3×3 grid is quick to scan. Wins follow five fixed lines, so matching symbols need to land along one of those routes. Buffalo symbols act as Wilds and can substitute for other symbols, including Bonus symbols. Their position can matter both when they help complete a line and when Bonus symbols gather along one.
Slot Features
Bonus symbols landing together on a payline can award Free Spins. The feature changes the role of buffalo symbols: they can pay in any position as well as contribute to line wins. That wider reach gives the bonus a visible difference from the base game while keeping attention on the same compact grid. A bonus-buy option is also listed, providing a direct route to a feature.
Feature focus: Check whether a buffalo Wild completes a paying line, then watch for buffalo symbols paying in any position during Free Spins.
RTP and Win Potential
The game lists high volatility and a 10,000x maximum win. That ceiling allows for a large top result, while the high-volatility profile suggests a less even rhythm between wins.
My Thoughts On This Slot
A buffalo landing away from a paying line has a different significance during Free Spins, when it can pay in any position. That change gives this small board something worth following without asking the player to learn a new layout.
Five fixed lines suit the compact format, although their simplicity may wear thin for someone who enjoys a busier game. 9 Buffalo makes more sense for a player who wants familiar line play with a meaningful change in how the main symbol pays.
Final Take: The buffalo’s broader reach in Free Spins gives this compact Western game its character.
