9th Legion Coin Boost brings ancient Rome and legion warfare to five reels, pairing multiway wins with coin prizes and a jackpot-pick feature. The central draw is seeing what a Coin scatter brings: a cash prize, a feature, or a route into the bonus.
Quick take: Coin scatters can lead to cash prizes, jackpot picks or a bonus of up to 20 spins.
Theme and Gameplay
The Roman setting gives the coin symbols a natural place in the game, while the five-reel layout keeps ordinary spins familiar. With 243 paylines, matching symbols can connect across many routes rather than following a small set of fixed lines. The key symbol to watch is the Coin scatter: it can change a regular spin into a prize or a feature event.
Slot Features
Coin scatters have several roles. They can award cash prizes, start the Pick Bonus, or trigger the Free Spins Bonus. In the Pick Bonus, matching three symbols awards one of four jackpot prizes; an Award All icon can award all four. Boost, Super Boost and Mega Boost icons can increase prize values. Three or more Bonus scatters start the Bonus, which awards up to 20 spins. The Coin Feature can also appear during those spins, giving the bonus another chance to bring coin prizes or a pick.
Feature focus: When a Coin scatter appears, pay attention to whether it awards a prize directly or opens a feature. In the Pick Bonus, matching symbols determine which jackpot prizes are awarded, while Award All changes that result by awarding all four.
RTP and Win Potential
The listed GB version has a 94.20% RTP and a minimum bet of £0.12. The RTP describes the game's theoretical return over extended play; it does not predict what a particular session will return.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The coin feature gives the Roman theme a practical focus: coins are more than scenery, since they can pay directly or lead into the Pick Bonus. That variety makes the feature moments easy to anticipate without making every spin depend on a single bonus route. The Pick Bonus also has a clear prize logic, with matching symbols and an Award All result offering distinct outcomes.
The 243-payline structure gives regular spins plenty of possible connections, while the up-to-20-spin bonus provides a longer stretch of play. The listed RTP is on the lower side, and there is no volatility figure here to help set expectations about how often wins arrive. This suits someone who likes multiway slots with coin prizes and a feature that can resolve in more than one way.
Final Take: A Roman coin slot with multiway play and a Pick Bonus built around clear prize outcomes.
