Bone Howl takes you down into a torch-lit dungeon of crumbling stone arches. A cartoon skeleton in a purple hood grins from beside the spin button, skull bolts stud the frame, and the green slime of the logo drips over the reels. On my very first screen, two full-height Skeleton Wilds towered over reels 1 and 3, tagged x1024 and x2048. I played at 1.00 with a 1,000 balance.
Theme and Gameplay
The symbols are a dungeon crawler’s inventory: a zombie hand, a rusty skeleton key, green poison potions, round wooden shields, a tattered red banner with a skull, an empty glass bottle and, cheekily, a 50% Off coupon. Gold coins stamped Bonus with a little skull are the scatters.
The Skeleton Wild is a spine of bones crowned by a red skull and wrapped in dark blue mist, and its multiplier is printed in bright blue beneath it.
Slot Features
Skeleton Wilds may show up on all five reels and cover every icon apart from Bonus coins. When it completes a payline, that line’s win is multiplied by the wild’s value, and when several Skeleton Wilds share one line win, their values combine before the win is multiplied. That rule applies to regular spins and both bonuses alike.
Three or more Bonus coins anywhere unlock free spins. The Normal Bonus keeps the usual reels and paylines, but Skeleton Wilds turn up far more frequently, each bringing a personal multiplier.
The Super Bonus follows the same rules with one big difference: each Skeleton Wild that arrives sticks until the bonus ends, so the reels slowly fill with multiplier wilds round by round.
RTP and Win Potential
The feature shop holds a mode that improves the bonus trigger rate each spin, plus direct buys for both the Normal and Super versions.
Given wild multipliers in the four-figure range I saw on screen, volatility is high, and single spins can swing dramatically.
My Thoughts On This Slot
I like how bold the central idea is. A single wild type that always carries a multiplier keeps every spin interesting, and the sticky wilds of the Super Bonus build tension nicely. The cartoon dungeon art strikes a fun balance between spooky and silly.
Beyond the wilds there isn’t much variety, though, and ordinary rounds can feel repetitive between big hits.
