Carp Diem by Twist Gaming is a bright, cartoon-style fishing slot built around fish values and a Prize Basket. Its five-reel, three-row grid has 25 fixed paylines, with a Collector Wild providing the game’s central hook.
Quick take: Fish fill a Prize Basket that the Collector Wild can collect.
Theme and Gameplay
Fishing gear and fisherman-style symbols bring the theme across the five reels. Ordinary wins follow 25 fixed paylines, while fish add value to the Prize Basket. That gives each spin two useful things to watch: whether a line pays and whether the basket is building toward a collection. The Collector Wild can gather the stored value when it appears.
Slot Features
Three or more Scatters trigger Free Spins, with up to 12 spins and the possibility of retriggers. Fish-value collection remains part of the game’s central idea, while the extra spins create more chances for the basket to develop. The Collector Wild also acts as a substitute during the bonus, giving it a role beyond collecting stored value.
Feature focus: Watch the Prize Basket as fish add value, then look for the Collector Wild to collect what has accumulated.
RTP and Win Potential
Carp Diem lists 97% RTP, high volatility and a maximum win of up to 5,000x. The feature-led prize chase can build toward a sizable result, though the advertised ceiling is a limit rather than an expected outcome.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The Prize Basket gives ordinary spins a clear point of attention beyond the paylines. Fish have a visible purpose, and the Collector Wild makes that buildup matter when it arrives. Free Spins extend the central idea without asking players to learn a different board.
The collection loop is easy to follow, which suits players who like a focused feature rather than a stack of separate bonus systems. High volatility means the basket’s potential may not turn into a large collection on every run. Carp Diem’s appeal lies in watching a simple fishing theme build toward one satisfying collection moment.
Final Take: A cheerful fishing slot with a clear prize to build and a Collector Wild to gather it.
