Crab Cargo is a little pixel-art postcard from a working harbour. A fishing boat chugs across a calm bay beneath distant hills, a crane hook dangles over the wooden pier, and a stout orange crab wearing a captain’s cap and life jacket stands on the boardwalk beside a framed Bonus sign. A life ring holds the crab’s portrait in the logo. I began at a 1.00 base bet with 1,000 to play with.
Theme and Gameplay
The cargo is lovingly drawn. Wooden crates, red barrels, cloth sacks, blue tackle boxes, green parcels tied with string and red-and-white fishing buoys fill the grid, each with that crisp retro pixel look. A Next Load board beside the pier shows the multiplier waiting for the next collection.
Along the bottom you’ll find base and total stake readouts, a bet mode selector and a round orange Spin button.
Slot Features
Winning groups pay and are cleared away, then the remaining symbols drop and new ones fill the gaps. During ordinary spins, every winning collection raises the multiplier for the next one through a load chain of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x, and the chain resets for each paid round. A group of 20 or more cells counts as a full hold and pays the top tier of the paytable, up to 5,000x for crates.
Three or more shipping tickets on the first board of a paid spin start 10 Cargo Rush spins, roughly once every 160 rounds. Here every collected cell adds a cargo unit, and every 33 units build a new deck: 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x and finally 256x. Cargo is never lost mid-feature, and each new deck applies from the next collection.
RTP and Win Potential
Priority Shift costs 2x the base amount and makes Cargo Rush about 2.5 times more likely, around one round in 64. Cargo Rush itself is available to buy for 100x. Heavy Haul costs 400x and starts with 66 cargo units, a 4x deck and 8 spins, adding one more spin each time you reach the 64x, 128x and 256x decks, up to 11 in total.
Each mode has its own cost, return and maximum win. With multipliers climbing to 256x, expect high volatility, especially in the bought features.
My Thoughts On This Slot
Crab Cargo is a charming follow-up in REDAGE’s pixel-art style. The load chain makes each cascade feel like it’s building towards something, and the deck system in Cargo Rush builds satisfyingly. The crab himself is an adorable mascot.
The 400x Heavy Haul is a big ask, and ordinary spins rely on clusters forming naturally.
