Express Riches by Platipus puts a luxury golden train at the center of a five-reel, three-row slot. Ten paylines give the base game a familiar shape, while bonus coins can send play into a separate Hold and Win round.
Quick take: A golden-train slot where locked bonus coins can build toward cash prizes or jackpot tiers.
Theme and Gameplay
The luxury travel theme gives the reels a polished, gold-toned identity. On ordinary spins, the main thing to watch is how symbols line up across the ten paylines; bonus coins matter for a different reason, as they lead into the Hold and Win feature. That split gives the game two clear rhythms: line results on the reels and a coin-focused round when the feature begins.
Slot Features
Hold and Win moves play to a separate respin round. Bonus coins lock in place, and new matching coins can reset the respin count. Coin symbols can award cash prizes or jackpot tiers, with the starting bonus-symbol type determining which values or tier are in play. The combination of a resetting counter and locked coins makes each new coin relevant both for its prize and for how long the round can continue.
Feature focus: When Hold and Win begins, note the type of bonus symbol that starts the round, then watch how each new coin affects the locked board and remaining respins.
RTP and Win Potential
The listed RTP is 96.35%, volatility is high, and the maximum win is 2,377x. The high-volatility profile means results can be uneven, while the maximum is a ceiling rather than an expected outcome.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The Hold and Win round gives the game a clear focal point: coins stay visible, and another coin can extend the chance to build the board. That makes the bonus easy to follow even without adding several different effects to track. The train setting fits the idea of a journey toward a prize, while the ten-line base remains straightforward between feature rounds.
The high volatility may feel slow for anyone who prefers frequent, modest results, and the feature still depends on the coins that arrive. Express Riches should appeal to players who enjoy a conventional line game with a distinct locked-coin bonus to look forward to.
Final Take: A straightforward ten-line slot whose locked-coin round gives the golden journey its destination.
