Fiendish Friends brings cartoon monsters and glowing gems to a spooky castle, with a five-by-five board and 15 paylines. Its central hook is an Expanded Wild that can grow when Lightning strikes, changing how much of the board can help form a win.
Quick take: A growing Expanded Wild and a multiplier that carries through free spins give this Halloween slot its build-up.
Theme and Gameplay
The playful Halloween artwork sets up a clear contrast between goofy monsters and the darker castle setting. On ordinary spins, the 15 paylines offer a familiar way to read matching symbols across the square grid. The Wild is the symbol to watch: it substitutes for paying symbols, and its expanding footprint can make the surrounding board matter in a different way.
Slot Features
Bonus symbols award 10 free spins in the Bonus mode. Super and Epic are stronger free-spin modes, with more powerful Lightning conditions. Lightning can grow the Expanded Wild, while the global multiplier rises; the Wild size, multiplier and grave count carry into subsequent free spins. That carryover gives the feature a sense of progress: each new spin starts with the state built so far, even as the Wild returns in a new position. Feature purchases include free-spin modes and special spins, for players who want a direct route into those options.
Feature focus: When Lightning strikes, look at both the Wild’s new size and the multiplier. The Wild covers more positions, while the multiplier affects the value of wins across the board.
RTP and Win Potential
Fiendish Friends lists 96% RTP, very high volatility and a 25,000x maximum win. The large ceiling comes with an uneven style of play, so it is better read as potential than as a typical result. No general bet range is established here.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The expanding Wild gives the game a visual idea that is easy to follow: a small patch can grow into a much larger part of the board. The carried multiplier and Wild size give the free spins a reason to build from one turn to the next, rather than feeling like a simple replay of ordinary spins.
The five-by-five grid may take a little longer to scan than a compact reel layout, and very high volatility can mean long waits for a feature to develop. Fiendish Friends should appeal to players who enjoy watching a bonus state accumulate and want a playful monster theme around that process.
Final Take: A cheerful Halloween slot with an Expanded Wild that gives its free spins room to grow.
