Fossil Gold Collection sets a five-reel, four-row slot in a prehistoric excavation, where fossil symbols and dinosaur imagery lead into a Golden T-Rex Skull collection feature. Its 1,024 ways to win give matching symbols plenty of routes across the reels, while cascades can keep a result moving after a win.
Quick take: A fossil-filled ways slot turns collected Golden T-Rex Skulls into upgraded T-Rex symbols during Free Spins.
Theme and Gameplay
The excavation theme gives the reels a clear focus: fossils build the ordinary game, while T-Rex Footprint Scatters signal a move into Free Spins. Cascading wins add another beat to a spin, so after a match clears, the replacement symbols are worth watching for a fresh combination. The four-row layout also gives the 1,024 ways room to form across the reels without relying on fixed paylines.
Slot Features
Three, four or five T-Rex Footprint Scatters award 8, 15 or 25 Free Spins. During the feature, Golden T-Rex Skulls accumulate and upgrade premium fossil symbols into T-Rex symbols as collection thresholds are reached. That gives the bonus a visible objective beyond simply adding more spins: each Skull contributes toward changing the symbols that can appear. Wilds carry 2x or 3x multipliers in Free Spins, and those multipliers can combine. Scatter Boost costs 5x the bet and increases the chance of Scatters; the Bonus option starts Free Spins for 100x the bet. Both change the route into the feature, while the resulting spins still determine the outcome.
Feature focus: Keep an eye on the Golden Skull collection during Free Spins. Its progress matters because reaching a threshold upgrades premium fossils into T-Rex symbols.
RTP and Win Potential
The game lists a 96% RTP and a 5,000x maximum win. The maximum is an advertised ceiling, not a typical result, and the collection feature’s upgrades do not guarantee that a spin will form a paying combination.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The Golden Skull collection gives the Free Spins a clear thread: progress toward a threshold can change premium fossils into T-Rex symbols. That makes the bonus feel connected to the game’s fossil theme, while cascades give ordinary wins another chance to reshape the reels. The 1,024 ways also keep the base game easy to scan.
Scatter Boost and the direct Bonus option provide different ways into Free Spins, though their 5x and 100x bet costs are substantial. Fossil Gold Collection should suit players who enjoy watching a feature develop through collection progress and are comfortable with upgrades that still need to form a winning combination to pay off.
Final Take: A prehistoric ways slot where Skull collection gives Free Spins a clear goal.
