Midnight Cabaret by Notded puts five reels inside a dark cabaret theatre populated by stylised gothic performers. The three-row game pays through 243 ways, with matching symbols read from the first reel toward the right. Its defining interruption is an expanding Wild: a middle reel fills with substitution power, then a roulette assigns the Wild a multiplier.
Quick take: Expanding Wilds bring the spectacle, but their roulette multipliers need a winning combination to earn their place.
Theme and Gameplay
The gothic stage gives Midnight Cabaret a theatrical setting, while the compact reel field keeps the ordinary result manageable. Start with the matching symbols on reel one and follow their connections across consecutive reels. Symbols do not need to trace a fixed payline.
Wilds can land on reels two, three and four. When one expands across its reel, it can substitute for regular symbols in several positions, helping connect matches through that column. It does not replace Scatters, so the Wild action and the free-spin trigger are separate things to watch.
Slot Features
Each expanding Wild activates Multiplier Roulette, which awards that Wild a multiplier between 2x and 50x. When multiple Wild multipliers share a winning combination, their values add together. That makes their position within the actual win important: the useful number is the multiplier attached to the paid combination.
Three Scatters award ten Free Spins, four award fifteen and five award twenty. During the round, landing Wilds become Super Wilds with random multipliers. The feature therefore keeps the central interest on Wild-assisted combinations while giving the special symbols an enhanced role.
Feature purchases offer direct free-spin entries and rounds with guaranteed Wild and roulette action. A separate bonus-chance enhancement improves the chance of triggering a feature; it does not guarantee entry.
Feature focus: Two multiplier Wilds matter together when they share a winning combination: their multipliers add, rather than multiplying each other.
RTP and Win Potential
Midnight Cabaret lists 96% RTP, high volatility and a maximum win of 20,000x the stake. The volatility points to uneven returns, while the maximum describes a ceiling rather than an expected result. Even an impressive Wild multiplier still needs a qualifying symbol win to produce a payout.
My Thoughts On This Slot
A full-reel Wild is a fitting centrepiece for Midnight Cabaret's stage. The combination of expanding coverage and a roulette-awarded multiplier gives that symbol enough substance to carry the theme. Having several Wilds contribute to one winning combination is especially interesting: their positions and added multipliers give the result two connected details to follow.
That extra attention is also the trade-off. The roulette interruption may wear thin for someone who wants a quick, straightforward reel result. I would put this closer to the tastes of someone who enjoys a little ceremony around a useful symbol. The familiar ways format provides a comfortable foundation, while the Wilds give individual spins their own moments of anticipation.
Final Take: Midnight Cabaret makes a convincing headliner of its expanding Wilds, with roulette adding a second reason to watch them.
