Moonburst Express by Kalamba Games places three reels in a lantern-lit lunar festival. Special symbols carry displayed values, and a qualifying group pays those amounts. Their number also determines which Cashpots unlock in the Cashpot Tower, giving the same reel stop more than one point of interest.
Quick take: Count the special symbols first, then follow what that count opens in the Cashpot Tower.
Theme and Gameplay
Lotus Flowers and Lanterns tie the festival setting to the symbols worth watching. They can carry attached multipliers, so the theme's central icons also have a direct role in the prize mechanics.
An ordinary spin resolves across the three reels. Any combination of three or more special symbols awards their displayed values. The useful reading is therefore the special-symbol count followed by the amounts on those symbols. A mixture can qualify; the group does not have to consist of one special-symbol type.
That count has a second job in the Cashpot Tower. More special symbols can change which Cashpots are unlocked, giving a crowded result significance beyond the individual amounts displayed.
Slot Features
The Cashpot Tower connects its unlocking process to the number of special symbols visible on the reels. It gives the player something concrete to track on each relevant stop: the group that produces a symbol-value result also determines Cashpot access. Unlocking a Cashpot is distinct from receiving a Cashpot award.
Lotus Flower and Lantern symbols can carry multipliers. This adds another detail to inspect within the special-symbol result, alongside the symbol count and displayed cash amounts.
Three Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels trigger Free Spins. Their position does not need to follow a particular line for that trigger. Two bonus purchase options also provide direct entry to Free Spins.
Feature focus: A special-symbol group has two readings: its displayed values produce the qualifying cash result, while its size determines Cashpot unlocking.
RTP and Win Potential
There are five possible attached multipliers for Lotus Flower and Lantern symbols, reaching 10x. That upper figure describes a symbol modifier, rather than the game's overall prize ceiling. The cash-value result and Cashpot access remain separate parts of how a stop is read.
My Thoughts On This Slot
Moonburst Express makes good use of a small reel set. Counting special symbols is straightforward, yet the same count has a role in both the immediate result and the Tower. That connection gives the cash feature more substance than a collection of prize labels beside the reels.
The appeal depends on enjoying displayed-value symbols and count-based results. Someone who prefers to follow familiar matching-symbol combinations may find this a different rhythm. The festival theme works particularly well because the Lanterns and Lotus Flowers are part of the action the player needs to watch.
Final Take: A compact festival game where one special-symbol count connects cash values with Cashpot access.
