Plum Wild! is a cheerful fruit slot from RubyPlay, built around a compact 3×3 grid and five paylines. Its central idea is simple: matching fruit can lead into a respin feature where symbols fill the grid, with a full matching grid unlocking a 10x feature.
Quick take: A small fruit grid turns into a symbol-filling respin, with a full match worth 10x.
Theme and Gameplay
The classic fruit setup and cheerful plum mascot give the game a light, familiar feel. Ordinary spins use three reels and five lines, so the main thing to follow is how fruit combinations land across the compact grid. The special symbols add another layer when the respin feature begins, shifting attention from individual lines to the spaces still open on the board.
Slot Features
The respin feature selects a symbol to fill the grid alongside Wilds and Mystery symbols. A Mystery symbol can become a Wild, add another matching symbol, or upgrade matching fruit to a higher-paying symbol. The feature ends when no new symbols land or the grid fills. A full grid made up of one symbol type or Wild activates the 10x feature, and this can happen in the base game as well as during respins. The respin feature is also available through a buy option priced at 50x the total bet.
Feature focus: During respins, watch what each Mystery symbol does: it may strengthen the matching fruit already on the grid or change the result with a Wild.
RTP and Win Potential
RubyPlay lists a 96.28% RTP, high volatility and a maximum win of 2,500x. The high-volatility label points to a less even return pattern, while the full-grid 10x feature gives the game a clear prize condition to watch for. No betting range is listed here.
My Thoughts On This Slot
The compact board gives the feature a clear visual purpose: each new symbol reduces the open space and makes the full-grid condition easier to judge. Mystery symbols also keep the respins from feeling like simple repeats, since they can change a match in more than one way. The 10x payoff has a specific condition, which makes it easier to understand than a bonus built around an unexplained multiplier display.
The high volatility may be a drawback for anyone looking for frequent small outcomes, and the 50x feature price is a substantial shortcut cost. Plum Wild! should appeal most to players who enjoy classic fruit symbols and a compact grid that can build toward a defined full-board result.
Final Take: A tidy fruit slot whose respins build toward one clear target: a full grid and its 10x feature.
