Power Dragon Super Link X is a 4×4 link-and-collect game from Atlantic Digital, set among red pagodas and drifting clouds. Rather than paylines, it pays when symbols form an unbroken chain across the grid. This Power Dragon Super Link slot review explains Super Links, Super Spins and the route to five fixed jackpots.
Theme and Gameplay
The intro screen shows three temple panels promising five jackpots, coin collections and Super Spins. After you press Continue, the 4×4 grid takes center stage, with a fiery Asian palace backdrop and gold lettering throughout.
Everything depends on the Super Link. You form one by creating an unbroken chain of symbols that starts on the leftmost reel and reaches the rightmost reel. Any prize symbols in that chain, along with extra prizes connected to it, are paid. Symbols left outside the chain pay nothing.
There is a helpful safety net too. Fill one reel top to bottom with an unbroken vertical chain, and you get a respin. During it, every empty space spins again, which can complete a link that was nearly there.
Slot Features
Three symbol types sit on the base reels. Coins hold instant wins of 0.05x, 0.1x, 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x or 5x your bet, and any coin caught inside a Super Link is paid. X symbols are the spark for Super Spins, but only when they sit inside or connect to a link.
A Super Spin opens by revealing either a coin or a multiplier on the X position. Multipliers can be 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x or 100x. While the Super Spin runs, new coins add to the collected total, and new multipliers add to the multiplier total, capped at 100x. New prizes keep the feature alive, and when they stop, the coin total gets boosted by the final multiplier.
Jackpot icons provide the last layer. One icon in a Super Link is collected and can later trigger the Power Dragon Jackpot Round. Two or more in a link start the Jackpot Mini Game, where those spaces respin to reveal specific jackpots, and matching two wins that prize.
RTP and Win Potential
The fixed jackpots are Mini at 10x, Minor at 25x, Major at 75x, Mega at 200x and Max at 1,000x the regular bet. Super Spins add another path to bigger results, thanks to multipliers that can climb as high as 100x.
My Thoughts On This Slot
Power Dragon Super Link X asks you to think a little differently. Instead of scanning lines, you trace a path across the grid, and seeing a link snake from one side to the other is surprisingly satisfying. The vertical-chain respin adds plenty of near-miss drama.
Super Spins are the highlight. Coins and multipliers stack up together, and the final multiplication can turn a handful of small coins into a decent payout. For anyone tired of standard respin bonuses, this one is worth a try.
