Tuna Overload Christmas Haul by Spinberry brings Christmas and fishing together on five reels with three rows. Ordinary spins resolve through winning lines, while Free Spins give the Tuna symbols a second job: qualifying wins can upgrade them. That makes the fish involved in a paid combination more interesting than a collection of matching symbols elsewhere on the screen.
Quick take: Winning Tuna combinations give this festive fishing game's Free Spins their purpose.
Theme and Gameplay
The Christmas fishing theme gives the game an unusual seasonal identity, but the compact 5×3 layout keeps the action familiar. On ordinary spins, the useful distinction is between a paying line and the Free Spins symbols that can open the bonus. Each offers a different reason to watch the result.
Count the Free Spins symbols across the whole reel window. They can land anywhere in view to qualify, so their positions matter differently from the symbols forming a line win. An extra feature symbol can increase the length of the round before it even begins.
Slot Features
Three Free Spins symbols award twelve spins, four award eighteen, and five award twenty-four. Each step adds six turns, giving the larger triggers a concrete advantage in starting length. The feature also allows retriggers.
During Free Spins, Tuna symbols participating in a win upgrade to match the highest Tuna symbol on a winning line. The qualifying win is the important part: a higher Tuna appearing elsewhere does not by itself establish an upgrade. Watch which fish actually belong to the paid combination and which Tuna sets the level for that change.
This gives the bonus two things to follow: the remaining turns and the composition of each Tuna win. A paying combination can therefore matter for more than its immediate award, because it is also the event that qualifies the participating Tuna for an upgrade.
Feature focus: In Free Spins, identify the highest Tuna on the winning line before judging which participating fish can upgrade.
RTP and Win Potential
The listed RTP is 93.24%. That is a theoretical long-term return, rather than a prediction for a particular run of spins. The larger Free Spins awards provide more turns in which Tuna wins can occur, but the starting count alone does not determine the round's payout.
My Thoughts On This Slot
Tying an upgrade to a winning combination gives the bonus a readable point of interest. There is a specific result to look for, and the highest Tuna on the line explains the upgrade target. That is a useful fit for a small reel window where individual symbols remain easy to locate.
The same focus may feel restrained to someone seeking a bonus that changes the whole format of play. Tuna Overload Christmas Haul is better suited to someone who enjoys familiar line wins with an extra reason to inspect the fish involved during Free Spins.
Final Take: A compact Christmas fishing slot with a worthwhile twist in its winning Tuna upgrades.
