New York’s eight online sportsbooks took in $594.6 million in handle during the week ending September 13. That was the biggest weekly total of 2026. It was also the most since late November 2025.
However, gross revenue reached only $16.96 million. That is down 44.5 percent from the same week last year. It is also down 62 percent from the week before.
The 2.9 percent hold ranks as the third lowest for an NFL week since New York launched mobile betting in early 2022. Only two weeks were lower. One hit 1.9 percent in October 2024. The other hit 2.7 percent in December 2022.
Several results went the bettors’ way. Eight favorites covered the spread. The Jets and Giants both won outright as underdogs. Nine of thirteen games went over the point total. Additionally, several popular touchdown scorers found the end zone.
